Seniors and Healthcare

Norma Supports Open Borders

Seniors are the most used and abused demographic in our country. Every election cycle politicians vie for their votes and attention, only to kick them to the curb once the election passes.

While seniors are warned that “Republicans will destroy Social Security”, Democrats like Norma Torres flood the system with millions of illegal aliens. These illegal aliens are then enrolled into Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid without having contributed a single dime to the process. Because of this, the system will collapse.

Furthermore, Norma has consistently prioritized the needs of Ukrainian citizens over America’s seniors by voting to send over $250 billion (with no audits) to Ukraine. No American should ever support a Representative like Norma Torres. While fully aware of the dire situation currently facing those on a fixed income, she cavalierly throws BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars at nations who are openly hostile to American interests. We need leaders who are willing to support America First!

There are three things I will immediately champion to aid our seniors:

1.    Social Security benefits should be completely TAX FREE.

2.   A surviving spouse should continue to receive Social Security benefits for 24 months after the passing of a loved one.

3.   Property taxes should be cut in half for those over 65 years of age.

The pandemic brought to light the utter contempt Democrat leaders have for our senior citizens. Their callous decisions stem from a complete disregard for LIFE that manifests itself in a willingness to kill infants and the elderly. When all is said and done, more seniors will have died in nursing homes at the hands of Democrat governors than in the attack on 9-11. I will support all efforts to hold these people criminally liable for these blatantly unconstitutional crimes against humanity.

Additionally, I will support all efforts to increase penalties and punishments for those convicted of elder abuse. If there was ever a need for the designation of a “hate crime”, it would be for those who target the most vulnerable among us.

HEALTHCARE

Like so many other facets of our society, the biggest roadblock to a robust healthcare system is government intrusion. It should be a free market responding to the laws of supply and demand. As our healthcare demands increase with each generation, the supply of healthcare professionals, equipment and medication must increase at an even greater rate to drive costs down. Nothing drives prices down faster than competition.

No one has a “right” to healthcare, but we all need it! Therefore, it should be affordable for all. Right now, the market is being artificially inflated due to heavy industry regulation. We need transparency and to remove the restraints on State-by-State competition (allowing inter-state access to all facets of, and suppliers in, the healthcare industry). This is where the collective bargaining power of a union or co-op can be fully realized.

Finally, I would support an effort to provide real tax credits and incentives to those who choose this profession.
